Kyran Wheatley is probably best known for his seven or so years spent speaking to a few million youths on Triple J across Breakfast, Drive and Weekends.

Outside the radio, Kyran has kept himself busy as co-founder and Executive Director of Comedy Republic, Melbourne's new home of comedy.

He has also produced and hosted several hit podcasts such as Wax Quizzical, Mirth (with Alex Dyson), Seek’s Alternative Route, Save The Date, Double J’s Bang On with Myf and Zan and ABC Comedy’s Positions Vacant.

In the past few years Kyran's skills as a talented speaker and MC have been called upon as he's hosted many live events including Facebook Live events for Seek where Kyran talks with leading professionals in the employment industry, hosting Mardi Gras Fair Day, TEDx Sydney, Vivid Music Conference and the ABC’s Oz Pod podcast conference.

Amongst other things, Kyran is the creator/producer of live shows Comedians Talk Over Movies, the hugely popular new material show Comedyish, and has dabbled in online comedies such as Sparks and It Gets Boring.

He is also a stand-up comedian and comedy director, leading to Best Show nominations at both Melbourne and New Zealand Comedy festival after his work on Rhys Nicholson's show in 2016.

He also has an unnecessary scar on his lower back after a poorly executed mole removal, type two bipolar, and a couple of well received tweets.
