Kyran Wheatley is a writer, broadcaster, comedian and producer probably best known for his seven or so years spent speaking to a few million youths on Triple J.

Outside the radio, Kyran has kept himself busy by launching, producing and hosting several hit podcasts such as Mirth (with Alex Dyson), Seek’s Alternative Route, Save The Date, Double J’s Bang On with Myf and Zan and ABC Comedy’s Positions Vacant. As well as hosting several Facebook Live events for Seek where Kyran talks with leading professionals in the employment industry.

In the past few years Kyran's skills as a talented speaker and MC have been called upon as he's hosted many live events including 2020 Mardi Gras Fair Day, TEDx Sydney, Vivid Music Conference 2017 and the ABC’s Oz Pod podcast conference (to name just a few).

Amongst other things, Kyran is the creator/producer of live shows Comedians Talk Over Movies, the hugely popular new material show Comedyish at Sydney's Giant Dwarf and has even dabbled in online comedies such as Sparks and It Gets Boring. Oh and he opened a bar for the Melbourne Comedy Festival called BOB.

He is also a stand-up comedian and has gone on to direct various comedian's live shows, leading to Best Show nominations at both Melbourne and New Zealand Comedy festival after his work on Rhys Nicholson's show in 2016.

He also has a birthmark on his lower back and can type quite fast.
